Where a different fit works better, MetaSys places you under a partner carrier's authority instead, sourced from a network of carriers who lend their MC to other operators. How much does an MC lease cost?
It depends on which path you are placed on. Under a partner carrier's authority, the settlement runs 5% to 20% of each load, set by that partner. Under MetaSys's own authority, the settlement is a straightforward agreement worked out with you before your first load, since MetaSys is the authority holder rather than a third party lending one.
What truck or equipment do I need?
Any truck type is accepted, with one exception: sprinter vans are not. Equipment goes through a basic inspection and the driver goes through an interview before approval.
How fast can I actually start hauling?
Approved carriers can be running their first load within about a week of applying. Exact timing depends on how quickly the equipment and driver checks clear and which authority you are matched to.
What is the contract commitment?
An initial six-month term, renewing in additional six-month terms after that. If you want out, one month's written notice ends it. There is no multi-year lock-in.
Am I stuck leasing forever, or can I get my own authority eventually?
You are not stuck. MetaSys actively helps carriers who want to move on to their own MC/DOT authority once they are ready. Leasing is a way to start hauling now and build the operating history that makes getting, and keeping, your own authority easier. It is not designed to hold you in place.
